The main benefits of sulbutiamine are increased energy and memory. If you’re feeling low on energy, then sulbutiamine may be able to provide you the boost you need. However, as a nootropic, it’s sulbutiamine’s ability to boost memory that is significant.

Dosage

Sulbutiamine is available in capsule or powdered form, but the powdered form tastes terrible. It is fat soluble, so it’s best taken with food or mixed with an oil. The recommended dosage is 200-800mg per day. A dose of 400mg in the morning is typical.

It’s also easy to build a tolerance to sulbutiamine, so it’s not recommended taking it on a daily basis for more than a few days or to exceed the recommended dose as some users report anxiety as a side effect. It’s better to develop a cycle, three days on and one day off, for example. Even better would be to just take on occasion when an additional boost is needed.

Side Effects

Sulbutiamine has very few side effects when taken at normal doses. These side effects could include headache, nausea, and trouble sleeping. Users experimenting with doses higher than normal have reported anxiety and negative thoughts.

Stacking

Sulbutiamine works well on its own for an occasional boost to energy or mood, but can be stacked with other nootropics to maximize effects.

Sulbutiamine stacks well with racetams, but especially aniracetam. Try stacking 400mg sulbutiamine, 800mg aniracetam and 300mg GPC Choline once or twice a day.
